In short
- Atrox is closed-source, proprietary software. You get a licence to use it — never the code, and never any ownership.
- Buying a Plan buys exactly one thing: a license key for that Plan, valid for 30 days from activation.
- It is not a subscription: nothing renews automatically and nothing carries over after 30 days.
- One key works on one machine (bound to its hardware ID).
- Once your key is activated it is not refundable for change of mind. Your statutory rights still apply.
1. Who we are
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Atrox, operated by zxclockin (“Atrox”, “we”, “us”), based in North Tyneside, England, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected], Discord: zxclockin.
These Terms apply together with our Terms of Use. By creating an account, requesting a Plan or using Atrox, you agree to both.
2. Atrox is closed-source software
Atrox — the desktop application and its updates, the website atrox.uk and our license server — is proprietary, closed-source software. It is licensed to you, not sold. All intellectual property rights in Atrox belong to us and remain with us.
We do not provide, sell or license the source code. No purchase, Plan or payment gives you any right to the source code, any ownership of Atrox, or any share in the project.
3. What you buy when you buy a Plan
A paid Plan (Plus, Pro, or an Enterprise arrangement) gives you one license key that:
- is valid for 30 days from the moment we activate it;
- allows the bot limit of that Plan;
- is bound to the hardware ID (HWID) of one machine;
- is personal to you and your account.
That is everything a Plan includes. A Plan is not a subscription: it does not renew automatically, and you are never charged again unless you place a new order. When the 30 days end, the key expires; to keep using a paid Plan, you buy a new one. A Plan does not entitle you to any particular future feature, version or level of performance. Enterprise terms agreed with us in writing apply in addition to these Terms.
The Free plan gives a short-lived key (currently 6 hours) that can be renewed free of charge after a verification step. We may change, limit or withdraw the Free plan at any time.
4. Your account
You must be at least 13 to create an account, and at least 18 to buy a Plan (or have the permission of a parent or guardian). Give accurate details, keep your password and keys secret, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars on atrox.uk and may include time-limited promotions. Payment is made through FunPay or another method agreed with us; the terms of that payment platform also apply, and we never see or store your card details. Paid Plans are activated manually after payment is confirmed, as soon as reasonably practicable. If we cannot activate a paid order, we refund it in full.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Your key is digital content supplied without a tangible medium. By requesting a Plan, you expressly ask us to supply the key as soon as it is activated, and you acknowledge that once the key is activated you lose your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
- Before activation you can cancel your order and receive a full refund.
- After activation we do not give refunds for change of mind, unused days, or problems caused by third-party platforms.
- Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If Atrox is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement and, if that is not possible, a price reduction or refund.
7. Upgrades and HWID changes
An upgrade activates the new Plan for 30 days from its activation; remaining time on the previous Plan is not carried over or refunded. To move your key to another machine, request an HWID re-bind in your account. We review these requests manually and may refuse ones that look like key sharing.
8. Availability and changes
Atrox needs our online license server to work. We aim to keep it running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, change or remove features. If we permanently discontinue the paid service while your key is still active, we will refund the unused part of your Plan pro rata.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend your account or revoke your key if you breach these Terms or the Terms of Use, if the law requires it, or to protect Atrox or other users. If we do so because of your material breach, you will not receive a refund for the remaining period. You can stop using Atrox and ask us to delete your account at any time.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Otherwise:
- we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses (lost profit, revenue, business or opportunity) — Atrox is supplied for private use;
- we are not liable for anything that happens on third-party platforms as a result of your use of Atrox, including warnings, bans, or loss of accounts, items or progress;
- our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Your data
We collect only what we need to run the service: your username, email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself), your machine’s HWID, IP addresses, browser user agent, and records of downloads, key activity and Plan requests. We use this to provide your account and license, keep the service secure and prevent abuse. We use only essential cookies (session, security token, trusted device and language). We do not sell your data.
Under the UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data by emailing us, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is always published at atrox.uk/#ToS with its date. Changes apply from publication; if a change materially affects a key you have already paid for, it applies from your next purchase.
13. Governing law and disputes
If you have a problem, contact us first at [email protected] — most issues can be solved quickly. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
14. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we delay enforcing a right, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to whoever takes over Atrox, without reducing your rights. No third party has any right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. These Terms and the Terms of Use are the whole agreement between us about Atrox.
